PERAN KELUARGA TERHADAP TERJADINYA KENAKALAN REMAJA PADA SMPN-1 PENDAHARA KECAMATAN TEWANG SANGALANG GARING DI KABUPATEN KATINGAN

Abstract

Abstract : This research to describe the role of families against juvenile delinquency in students SMPN-1 Pendahara Tewang Sangalang crisp In Katingan District. To reveal about the efforts parents and teachers can make to reduce juvenile delinquency. The type of research used is Descriptive Qualitative, the research location is located at SMPN 1 Tewang Sangalang Garing Katingan Regency. Sampling method is purposive sampling. Source of data comes from Informants, Documents, or archives. Data collection techniques are Obsevation, Interview and Documentation. Data analysis using Interactive analysis while Data validity using technique triangulation or source triangulation. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between peer group association with juvenile delinquency. A teenager should be careful in choosing a group to get along with, because social groups can create mutual relationships for their members. All good or bad behavior will be easily imitated by members of his group. If imitated is a bad deed, it can lead to juvenile delinquency collectively from group members. But if imitated is a good behavior it will be useful and not cause problems. Parents should also maintain a harmonious relationship between family members. This can minimize the emergence of juvenile delinquency measures. The existence of a negative relationship between the attention of parents with juvenile delinquency. Therefore the attention of parents need to be increased again so that juvenile delinquency can be reduced. Implementation of this is the parents pay more attention to the child especially in the fulfillment of physical needs (clothing, food, board) and psychic (affection, moiety and sense of security). respect the child personally, accept the child as usual, listen to the child's opinion or complaint, forgive the child's mistake and apologize if the parent is guilty of the child, straighten the child's mistake with the right reasons or considerations, so the child can go through its development period well.
